Q: Do you hunt private or public land?
A: JB Outfitters lays claim to over 15,000 acres of privately owned land to hunt.

Q: What do I need to do to book a hunt?
A: First contact us for available dates and accommodations. It is the responsibility of the hunter to secure a South Dakota hunting license prior to your hunt.

Q: How do I get my license?
A: All license fees, dates and limitations are subject to the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks. For more information about big game and upland bird licensing, visit http://gfp.sd.gov/hunting/.

Q: Where do I fly in to? Can I be picked up at the airport?
A: The nearest airports are located in Rapid City, South Dakota or Dickinson, North Dakota. Arrangements can be made to pick you up at the airport upon arrival. Rental cars are also available, which is often more convenient.

Q: What type of lodging is offered?
A: Lodging is included in the price of all our hunts that can accommodate any group, large or small. Please see the accommodations tab for more information.

Q: Are there any trophy fees for trophy game harvested?
A: No.

Q: Are Taxidermy Services provided?
A: While we don’t provide taxidermy services, we will gladly put you in touch with local reputable taxidermists in which we have done business with for years. Several examples of their work can be seen in the lodge at the ranch.
